Members are notified that in 2024 both Maple Bay Yacht Club and Burrard Yacht Club have raised their minimum liability insurance requirement to three million dollars. Most of the clubs we deal with, as do we, still have the requirement of two million dollars to stay at their docks. Members should expect discussion at the Board level in the next few months on the issue of possibly raising our club’s liability insurance requirements.
