This remembrance of Jennifer Healey has been written by her friends Jenny Barrio and Candace Brochmann.
After a bravely fought debilitating disease, our Club member Jennifer Healey passed away on April 19th at the Lady Minto Hospital.
Jennifer, along with her husband Jon, joined the Sailing Club in 2002. She was a great support to Jon when he was Commodore (2009/10). They were made Honorary Life Members in 2022. They spent many hours, along with their dog Maddie, sailing the Salish Seas and beyond on “Khadine”.
Jennifer will be remembered as person generous with her time and energy, participating in many Club Activities. She was an optimistic, caring person and will be missed by her family,
Jen greatly enjoyed camaraderie and friendship with many folks at SISC. She will certainly be missed. Our sympathies and thoughts are with Jon, her family, and her many friends in the community.
