About the Speaker: This 6-session course will be facilitated by Dennis Fortin who is a CPS Instructor, RCAF and airline pilot, and experienced boater.
About the Talk: The course will include instruction, discussion, and reading material. The objectives of this course are to improve boating safety by learning:
- Physical characteristics of the atmosphere and dynamic forces that cause the weather we observe
- Simple tools you can use to interpret and forecast the weather
- How to access weather information online
Registration: All those registered will receive a Study Guide by email to help them navigate through the course.
