Come One Come All

To the Commodore’s Ball (Well not really, it’s a Cocktail Party)

This is a kindly invitation reminder of our upcoming Annual Salute to the Commodore. This year it will be held at Artspring on Monday November 4 starting at 6:00 PM. The format will be a cocktail party setting where appetizers prepared by our own Chef Extraordinaire Dean McClernon will be served. You can see from the menu below it will be AMAZING!!! Couple this with a glass of champagne to toast our outgoing Commodore, (included in the ticket price), and it looks to be a great event. As per most of our club events there will be a cash bar with beer, wine and soft drinks offered. Tickets are only $30.00 per person and available at Apple Photo (cash or cheque only please). Don’t delay as tickets are limited.

Note: We are looking for 3 teenagers whose parents belong to the sailing club who would be willing to be servers for this event. Their time, 3 hours each, would count towards the member’s volunteer hours for the year. If you are willing to conscript one or more of your children, please contact Mike Dawson (mike.fortstreet@gmail.com).

For those of you who are itching to help out in making these events successful, there will be a separate Email calling for volunteers and task requirements sent out in the next couple of days
