EVENT: Safety Day and Marine Swap Meet

Saturday, May 4 is Swap Meet and Safety Day. The Swap Meet starts at 9 am: Reserve a table or donate items to the benefit of the Junior Sailing program. Demonstrations start at 10 am and include AED (Automated Electrical Defibrillator), Man Overboard Recovery, Fire pump use, Oil Spill Containment, Life Ring and Bag Throwing. New this year: the SSI Fire Department will demonstrate the use of fire extinguishers (dubbed “Bonfire on the Beach”) and Safety Game Fun with Heather! Remember to register on the following form: Safety Day 2019 Registration.pdf. for Vessel Safety Inspection by RCM SAR or/and Hull Inspection by Chris West Dive Services.
