VHF Refresher with Tom McKeachie
Ever wonder, if confronted with a Mayday or other maritime emergency situation, if you would remember the correct VHF protocol? Ever hear boaters on the radio on a busy summer weekend who clearly do not know radio protocol? Don’t be one of them! You could repeat the entire Restricted Operator Certificate course or instead take Tom McKeachie’s VHF Refresher Course. Tom asks that each participant bring two questions about using VHF radio.
Tom has 15+ years of experience using marine VHF doing marline search and rescue. He has been teaching basic VHF restricted certificate courses for 10+ years.
