RACE: Hot Rum Race – UPDATED

While the New Year Day brunch has been postponed; racing begins anew. The New Year’s Day race will go ahead.
But the start time has been changed back to 10:30 (it had been moved to 09:30 to accommodate the brunch). The 10:30 start will also allow the one or two of you who made it to midnight the night before to get a little more shut-eye. And maybe be a little less grumpy.
In terms of the never ending pandemic, we will reintroduce the recommendation not to gather inside a boat after the race.

Course: TBD (it will be designed to be about 3-4 hours

Mark your calendars, we have a busy January coming up. The 16th is our first race. The 23rd is the first Trophy race. And 30th is another K race.
I strongly encourage you to read the 2022 Race Instructions and Calendar (bottom of which lists the races) as there have been some significant changes.
