Daily Wharfinger Duty Orientation Session

For any first-time volunteers for daily wharfinger duty (or experienced ones wanting an update) I would like to offer some orientation sessions at the club, the first on Friday April 18 at 5:00 pm (that’s Good Friday), and the second on Saturday April 26 at 11:00 am. The session should take no more than an hour.
There is no need to sign up; simply show up at the entrance to the clubhouse, and we will walk through the procedure of picking up the logbook, checking the grounds, then proceeding to the gatehouse and finally to the visitor kiosk on F dock. We’ll be outdoors the whole time, so bring whatever foul weather gear might be called for.
If neither of these times work for you, I can hold one or two more sessions, but they will have to wait until after the Round Saltspring (May long weekend), by which time the duty wharfinger season will have begun.
