Members are invited to come and welcome 2025 in style at the Sailing Club! There are a couple of ways to celebrate New Year’s with your fellow members.
There is a “self-governed” cruise being planned to Montague Harbour on New Year’s Eve, weather permitting, lead by Betsy and Derek on Osprey (see separate post on this event: https://www.saltspringsailing.ca/event/self-governed-new-years-cruise-2/) and they are looking for more boats to join them.
And, as per the Club tradition, the Hot Rum Race will be held New Years Day, followed by lunch at the Clubhouse. Hot Rum will be served starting at noon and lunch soon thereafter. We are seeking volunteers to assist with the putting on of the lunch portion of the day.
