Marine Radio Operator Course

There will be a two-day course and exam for the Restricted Marine Radio Operator Card at the end of November.
Participants will meet at the SISC clubhouse at 1:00 p.m Saturday November 31 and 1:00 PM Sunday December 1st, finishing around 5:00 p.m. Sunday.
All SISC and Power Squadron members are welcome to attend at cost: printed manual and exam $90, e-manual and exam $80 (non-Power Squadron members pay $150 printed, $128 e-version).
Please register with Tom McKeachie via email before Nov. 15 at safety@saltspringsailing.ca with an indication of a preference for a printed manual or an e-manual. The e-version will be emailed to you, while those wanting the printed version will collect them at the clubhouse after they have registered.
All attendees are encouraged to review the manual and practice the phonetic alphabet well before-hand. (Several RCMSAR members and seven GISS students are also attending.)
