Fall BBQ
The fading of summer saw about 50 members meet at the club for the annual Fall BBQ. The crowd gathered early to catch up with old and new friends alike and share tales and adventures galore! Salmon BBQ’ed by the crew of Slippery When Wet was served with oven-roasted potatoes and seasonal salads.
Diane Simpson and Loraine Clark took the occasion to display and sell new SISC fashion. They ran a 50/50 to promote their garments and to raise money for the junior sailing program.
The meal was capped off with a very impressive array of volunteer/homemade desserts with an overall apple theme.
Thanks to Suzanne Ambers and the team of volunteers who contributed to the success of the event.
A truly enjoyable time was had by all.
