SV Dorothy Overnights at SISC

Thanks to the organizing efforts of club member Philip Grange, SISC will be hosting the oldest sailing vessel in BC, SV Dorothy, for a stopover in Ganges this Sunday, August 25. We expect her to arrive around noon, offer short sailing excursions to our juniors, and remain at our docks overnight before heading to Kanaka wharf for the classic boat rendezvous. On Monday or Tuesday she will be sailing in Ganges Harbour for a photo shoot from a drone, carried by and launched from Jamie and Lisa Sayer’s Scout, itself a classic Garden trawler-yacht.
