Lots of wind made the Club only Round Saltspring Race on July 8 and 9 an exhilarating sail for its participants. Some boats made it back to the Club before sunset and some stopped and spent the night in an anchorage before carrying on the next morning. Eric van Soeren on Second Wind was first, Ole Andersen and Tony Meek on Slippery When Wet were second, and Greg Slakov on Sorcery X was third.
