CLUB CRUISING UPDATE, END OF MAY 2020: Thanks to everyone who participated in the recent surveys on Reciprocal Moorage and Club Cruising. A summary of the findings of both surveys is available here: recip&crsgsummary2020.
Anyone considering cruising in more or less local waters is encouraged to check on the state of facilities by going to the Salish Sea Pilot website, which gives a current snapshot of what people can expect on the water these days. NEW YEAR’S CRUISE 2020: Show up at Montague Harbour on Dec. 31 with a heater, food to share, and libations, and prepare to party-in the New Year. Always a memorable time! Return to the Club the next day in time to participate in the New Year’s Hot Rum Luncheon and race. If you are planning to attend, contact Fleet Captain Cruising Arne Hetherington cruising@saltspringsailing.ca, so he can tell other people if they inquire.
