J-30 Radiant heat entered for 2017.
Enthusiastic happy crew asked for.
We currently have 3 crew. 6 is the max.
Experience is welcomed but can entertain all others.

Hi Tony, I am looking for a ride for Round Saltspring this year, did the last 2. I have SAS, PCOC, and others, and done 2 Swiftsures, Patos , Gin, Van Isle 360, 2013, etc, back to MB 1963. I live in Victoria and can assist or deliver, and can do pre race’s anywhere (almost). Prefer not to do foredeck, best on main, then grinder, helpful with tactics and aux helmsman.
Cheers Ross 250-380-1075

Hi Ross, the last month I have been recuperating from an injury. I had not checked this site not realizing there is no email notification.
I apologize I am 6 weeks late.

Have you managed to get a ride.

Selkie is looking for crew. She is an Express 37 Mk1 that rates 73.

I have sailed RSI over 20+ times. Won it overall and placed well many times. I learned to race RSI with Roger Kibble, then on my own (old) boat Rhumbline and in recent years sailed on Mischief and Velica (2016).

This year is about the next generation of sailors…I am bringing my two boys (10 and 12) as they don’t want to watch from the dock anymore. Currently we have a total of three (including myself) experienced adult sailors, all with 20 plus years of inshore and offshore experience. We need 7 to sail the boat well….hence the request for sailors.

So what am I looking for? Several additional crew members that, want to have fun, can help with the large Asym sail, etc., want to sail well, understand that we are in it to do well… but also recognize that there are limitations given kids etc.

Extensive experience is not required.

So in summary, we want to have fun, could use some crew and want to introduce the next generation to most beautiful sailing race in NA.
