Junior Program

Let’s Go Sailing!

The Club’s Junior Program was revitalized in 2011 and Junior membership grew significantly. The program gives young sailors a variety of sailing options beyond the Summer Sailing School activities. Junior membership is open to youth from 7 to 18 years of age. The summer Junior programs run from June 15th to September 15th, and feature evening activities including Fun Sails, Racing and Family Sails.

Junior Week is an annual summer event at the Sailing Club.

Junior Membership may be granted to applicants who are under the age of 19 years. Junior Members do not have voting or mooring rights, but enjoy a range of Club privileges, and students who have attended the Summer Sailing School are encouraged to become Junior Members to continue developing their sailing and seamanship skills.

Initiation fees and annual dues have been kept at very affordable levels to enable Juniors to join the Club. Junior Memberships are for a one-year term, beginning June 1st, and are invoiced in May. Find the application form for Junior Membership in the Downloads box.
